hello everyone… i already have made these group of armors and i want everyones idea on how i go about the diorama… there’s a m1 abrams tank, m966 tow hummer, cargo hummer, ford mutt with hard top and 5 figures. i arranged it that way to depict the group advancing but i would welcome any suggestions or idea to make this a better diorama… thanks… [:D]
The idea of a convoy suggests itself.Or maybe some kind of check-point.

a checkpoint or a convoy works very well. one thing though, was the U.S. still using mutts after it implemented the HUMMV? i think U.S. took them out of service shortly after. last use of mutts in wartime was the invasion of grenada. we didnt have M1s there
thanks for your suggestions… i think a checkpoint is a winner hehe [:D] well, the mutt came first than the others and i just placed it to fill the space. i’ll take away the mutt to make sure… [:)]
The paint schemes would work in a West German setting.I think it is possible that all the vehicles would be historically correct if used in this theatre.
Another idea is to have the 2 HUMMVEE’s on the side of the road, maybe with figures in conversation, while the Abrams is cruising past. Or vice versa.
The west german checkpoint sounds like a good one to me. Nice job !!!
