Hey guys

This is my Dragon 1/35 scale Firefly VC. Been working on it for a while. Do you guys think I have gone too far with the weathering, especially the turf in the running gear?

Looks correct to me. Tracks and running gear get dirty/muddy/rusty…

Many modelers over look this. The rest of the machine will get washed and or rained-on and-thus cleaned up. That area tends to get messed up and stay that way.

Hi; Although I don,t build much armor,I think it looks just fine.In “NAM” the vehicles during MONSOON looked a whole lot worse. The tops would be weathered but cleaner.Our command trac had so much guck on it one time a track was thrown. We spent a whole day just cleaning stuff off so we could re-install the track.Thank goodness the bad guys took the day off! The tracks look a-ok to me —SEMPER FI—tankerbuilder
