I want to build a model of the midget race car I once owned and drove in the mid-80’s. The problem is finding a suitable engine to use. The engine was a VW with Superflo heads and a 4-into-1 tuned exhaust that exited the left side of the hood. There are no kits that represent this era. The only available kit was the Monogram kit modeling the cars from the 50’s. I am hoping there were some dune buggy kits with an engine I could adapt to fit my needs. Any help?
