Can someone give me a web site, email address, and/or phone number for Koster Aero Enterprises. I’d like to reach them and see what’s new with Mr. Koster, but I’ve lost my contact list that includes this fine little company.
I wish more people were exposed to the unequalled work that Bill Koster does with this “boutique” model company. And, he’s also one of the finest kit designers among Revellogram’s great engineers over the years. But his homegrown multimedia kits are marvels to behold, and on every one I’ve built, I’ve first spent at least a month or two taking the box down and just looking at all those wonderful, incredibly detailed PE, resin, vacform and white metal parts he uses. And the vacform parts are always molded in such a way as to make it as easy on the modeler as possible. He even includes jigs to hold biplane wings in place while setting the struts and letting everything dry. Why can’t the big injection molded firms include two simple, flat parts that would serve as jigs on their biplanes? Anyway, there’s my rant for the day.
