Need paint color help

I’m building my first plane in about 30 yrs[:D]It’s the revell Blue Angels F-18 Hornet.What shade of blue should I use for this?I don’t use an airbrush and my main source of paint is testors and krylon just so you know.

Testors Model Masters “Blue Angles Blue” FS #15050 (blue) and Testors Model Masters Blue Angles Yellow (forgot the FS#). I think both are available in spray can as well as bottles.

I have used the the Model Master paint. It appears to be a perfect match.

Pratt & Lambert is identified as the paint supplier fort the F/A-18 but no identifying code has been made public. F.S.15050 is frequently identified as ‘Blue Angels Blue’ however there is no documentary evidence to suppoert the use of this colour at any time on Blue Angels aircraft. It is probably a good representative colour on a model. Blue Angels Blue traditionally orginated as a mix of Insignia Blue (one Part) and Insignia White (two parts). On some aircraft the mix was 1:3.
