Need Paasche H fine nozzle

Hey gang,

Not too bright here so I need some help.

I’m trying to get ultra fine lines with my Paasche H. Let’s assume I don’t want to buy a better airbrush at this point. Would I simply need to buy the “fine” nozzle or would I need to get the fine needles, tips, and color adjusting parts?

Thanks.

Which one are you using now? 5 or 3? 5 won’t do it. 3 can come real close. 1 will do it if the paint is extremely thin. H is an external mix, siphon airbrush, so the air is gonna have to be blowing a good bit harder than it would with an internal / gravity airbrush. Overall, it’s quite a hassle to do this stuff with an H in comparison to a good gravity double action.

You would need the H1 needle assembly & tip. All three parts. Paasche sells them individually & in sets.

Regards,

Yeah, I got the 5 right now and it’s nowhere near tight enough for what I need. I’m definitely going to upgrade at some point but now’s not the time.

How fine a line are going for? I have a Paasche H, and with a No.1 needle/tip I can pretty easily make lines about 3/32" wide. This was just messing around with leftover paint after spraying other things. I think that with a bit more serious experimentation, I could get that down even a bit finer, perhaps a 1/16" or so.
