Hello friends.
I want to buy the 1/35 ZSU-23-4V1 from Dragon. Anyone has this kit, if so, please tell me your opinion.
Ive had the kit
its the same as the Italeri ZSU-23-4, its as old as Dragon are (one of there first kits)
Thank you Captain Caveman.
The model appeals to me, so I will go pick it up today.
Should I be expecting the same quality parts as in any other Dragon model?
Thanks again for your reply.
it should be a good build
ive always liked the ZSU-23-4V1

I’ve had the kit for a couple of months now. I have not built it yet, but it looks up to part with stardard Dragon fare. Soft grey plastic, decent detail, and indy links.
Thank you friends.
I will be picking up the ZSU-23-4V1 today on my way to school. And indeed, The ZSU is awersome.
Thanks again [|)]
If you don’t mind spending a little extra on this kit, I recommend buying the Fruil tracks for this kit. If your kit is like mine, it will have sink marks on every link of track.
Well, I just came back from school and today`s loot is the ZSU-23-4V1 kit.

I was really surprised by the price of this 1/35 scale model. It was only 21.99Canadian Dollars. I still haven’t ripped the seal of it yet. Plan on doing that tomorrow.
By the way, Kaleu, I don’t think they make the Fruil tracks for the ZSU.

Okay, I checked my stash and I have a set of MK tracks for the ZSU-23. I was thinking of ATL-56 (Friul) which are made for the 2s1. Seeing as how the ZSU and 2s1 share the same chassis, I was sort of close. [:D]
Currently building this kit right now. So far, so good. It’s a Dragon!
I have finally ripped the plastic packing off the box to inspect the model. I was surprised… the model is a little advanced, I might have to wait a little bit before jumping right in (may be time consuming). Besides, I have to buy a airbrush [8D]
I’d jump right in. It is a full box of parts, but from what I’ve heard, there aren’t any problems with the kit, and it goes together nicely. As for the AB, if you don’t want to wait, since the vehicle is just single colour Russian green, you can get a can of spray paint. Model Master Dark Green is a pretty good colour for it.
