Need Help with Painting a FlakPanzer V Coelian

Hi Guys:

I just started working on the Dagon kit and I’m having trouble deceiding what colorations to use. I understand that the tank was never put into production but I’d like to use a color scheme that make sense for late in the war. I’m putting it onto the new Verlinden Ruined Church Hide Out diorama base which is a very light color - white and gray. I was thinking about making the tank Panzer Gray with a white wash to blend the tank into the walls of the building. My problem is the Dragon figures I want to use (Actung Jabo) aren’t in winter uniforms and are standing on the rear deck of the tank. I use Testors and Humbrol Enamel paints. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

BTY - The new Aber 3.7cm gun barrels are incredible!

Thanks

Try using a green base or a red Oxide base with a rough field app camo over that… With something like that its kind of an anything goes… Have fun with it. There is time for trying to match color chips later…

Peace and good luck

Ken:

Thanks for the feedback on the colors - it’s appreciated! Since I’ve posted this message, I bought a copy of Fine Scale Great Models which just happened to have a picture of one with colors that look mostly green with some red brown. 2 Votes for green!

Thanks[:)]

I would do a 3-color scheme (not ambush). I like Kens idea, red oxide base with field applied camo.
