Ever since I started posting in the Reference forum o f the U.S. Ordnance Museum on Aberdeen Proving Grounds it has been a learning experience. But the biggest problem that I have encountered is finding artillery pieces to go with the pictures of the following. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bryan
Here are some more pics. Bryan
Is this a Pak 40?
And even more pics. Bryan
German Flak 88. Exact version unknown to me ( this isn’t exactly my field )
This looks like a Pak 43 to me.
I’m not an expert, but here’s my take…
This is a 122 mm Cannon-Howitzer A-19 Model 1931/1937
This looks like the MT-12 100mm ATG
The German Flak is a Flak 18 I think…
Like I said, not my area of expertise.
Jeff
Like I said, this is a learning experience for me. My area of expertise is aircraft not armor. I am by far enjoying learning some of these pieces that I am posting. And again thanx for the help. Bryan
This is a 8.8cm Pak 43 (Neuntoter)
This is a 8.8cm Pak 43/41 (Nierstein)
Well I found a pic of a Pak 43.
So I guess that would be this one.
I dunno, you think?? [;)]
I wish someone did this kit in 1/35, affordably…I think there’s an expensive resin kit of this PaK.
Jeff
Cromwell models do the resin one, it looks one of the meanest AT guns out
i’d like one
Well like I said this is a learning experience for me. At least there isn’t a test afterwards. Bryan
pretty sure this is a bofors 40mm AA gun.
Thanx for the help on some of the pics all. Bryan
