I’m building the Hasegawa F-86F. The particular unit marking of this plane would put it in Germany between 1953-57. Can anyone tell me what the cockpit color was, including also the interior canopy frame? The seat color? Also, what does “interior green” translate to for jets of this era? While I’m being a pest, a few other questions: why were the yellow bands on the '86s retained (if not on the tail or fuselage, then apparently the wings) even when not in Korea? And what exactly was the orange beacon for, immediately behind the seat? Ditto the orange lights on the tail, just above the exhaust pipe? Thanks for your help [:)]
