I recently went to the Richmond, VA IPMS and this was a armor model entered in the judging. I wanted to know if anyone could identify it for me so I could build it.
thanks,
Tom

That’s a Panzer 38(t). Looks like the Tristar Pz 38(t) E/F kit if I’m not mistaken – in Hungarian colors.
Oh!
You just stumbled upon my favorite ‘lil’ tank! It’s been frustrating for me because none of the 3 brick and mortar LHS in my area ever stock one? Have fun with yours Cougar when you get it!
once you have a 38t you’ll definately have to have a hetzer, the 35 t,french hotchkiss, you see where this is leading dont you.about four of these little critters fit the space of one king tiger.[:-,][tup]hehehehehehahahaha.have fun.
LOL
And don’t forget the Marder III and Aufklarungspanzer 38(t) mit 2cm Kw.K.38 which are still on the 38(t) chassis! I read somewhere that the 38(t) chassis was recognized as the most versatile and widely used for variants, within the German inventory? I love 'em!
The German forces certainly got a lot of mileage out of the Czech design:
Pz 38(t) gun tank Ausf. A-G
Marder III 7.62cm (r)
Marder III H 7.5cm PaK 40
Marder III M 7.5cm PaK 40
Grille H 15cm SiG 33 (and non-gun mounted ammo carrier)
Grille M 15cm SiG 33 (and non-gun mounted ammo carrier)
Aufklarungspanzer 38(t)
Flakpanzer 38(t)
Jadgpanzer 38(t)
And that’s not even counting the “paper panzer” designs that didn’t make it into actual service.
