need help Hasegawa FG.1 vs FGR.2 1/48

Recently I have come across some Fg.1 Royal navy decals from Almark, but having trouble locating a FG.1. I have several FGR.2, is the only external difference the slotted rear stabilzers??? I know the original lot of FG.1 were not wired to carry the gun pod and they had an extended oleo strut assembly, to make up for the short carrier deck of the Ark Royal. Any other differences externally that I would have to deal with when modelling???

if I read both articles correctly the only difference I can find is the slotted stablizers and also increased alieron drop. So if I model a FG.1 with a FGR.2 with stabilizers borrowed from another F-4J and kept the alierons in the normal position it should be a good match???
