Like the subject line says, I’m looking for links (or books for that matter) that include good detailed picks of the interior. I have the TM with equipment layout diagrams and a “few” picks of an M2A3’s interior for color matching, but would like some picks of units in action in Iraq.
Another Bradley in the works cool. Just finished the base coat of white on my second one! U.N. colors. Hopefully I can complete it before the week is out. Mine doesn’t have the interior. I don’t think I’m up for that yet. The current one is a Hobby Craft I’m working on and I will admit it IS a poor copy of the Tamiya M2A2 I built in december. [8)] The matching U.N. Hummer is about ready too.
Good luck on yor build!
You, Sir, are a life saver! Outstanding photos! Just what I was in need of. One quick question:
Your photos show that the inside of the driver’s hatch is painted dark olive drab. Does it stay this color with the desert paint scheme, or is it painted sand tan like the hull?
There is also an article in Fine Scale Modeler that is currntly on the shelves that has a Tamiya Bradly with what I beleive is an Academy interior. I should have bought it when i had the chance. I plan to pick it up tomorrow. It has excellent desert weathering!
Hatches are closed when the vehicle is repainted so the interior of the hatch stays green; however, some of the late M2A2ODS and M2A3 vehicles are delivered in overall sand (as opposed to older vehicles that were NATO 3-color and repainted). The interior of those hatches would be sand.
