Need Decals for Spitfire!

I am hoping that you guys are like me and save all of your unused decals. I’m looking for some decals from the Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Mk.Vb model. Hopefully there is somebody who built either the B or C versions of this model, and still has the decals for the A version.

I am looking for the letter set “SN-M” that goes on the A version. I actually just need the letter M for one side of my model. I put the setting solution on it one evening and went to bed. When I came in the next morning, it had slid down sideways on the fuselage, and settled in very nicely - unable to repair it.

If you have the “SN-M” letter set and would like to send it to a needy and deserving home, I’ll gladly send you a SASE so you can send it. Or, if you happen to need any of the B or C letter sets, I’ll gladly swap you for it!

I’ve looked on Squadron at the replacement decal sets, and none of them that I saw had the letter “M” in them [:(]

John, I’m building the Tamiya Spitfire V using a completely different scheme, I’ve got the SN-M letter set that you need. Don’t worry about sending a SASE. Just send your address through the Forum “start a conversation.” I’ll send them right away. If there was anything else on those sheets that you need, just let me know. Just for future reference, try the model railroad section of your LHS (or on-line store) and look at dry transfer letter sets… I use them all the time for specific squadron codes and serial numbers in 1/48th… They come in white, black, yellow & red.
