need a bit of advice , just noticed a harder an steenbeck infinity 2 in 1 airbrush on e-bay . it’s a really good price , but it’s from hong kong . would it be a knock off . has anybody dealt with this before , any advice would be appreciated .
I think it depends a lot on your experience with airbrushes. If this is a first airbrush purchase, I might advise finding something that gives you a better chance of success. I once bought a ten dollar airbrush kit at Harbor Freight Tools and was able to achieve quite good effects with it. However, I’m a pretty experienced airbrush user. My main one, a Badger, was down at the time for repairs.
Not sure if you are in the States, but Hobby Lobby does have a selection of airbrushes that can be affordable using their 40% Off coupon, which comes out regularly.
I can come back and discuss further after I go pick up my kids from school.

Check feedback etc, or post a link so we can have a look.
Snibs has a great point. It’s becoming more and more common for me to avoid a product if there are no reviews in the product listing.

Steve - Do you have previous airbrush experience? Is the H&S new or used?
The other responders offered great input, likely best to buy the simplest and easiest to use airbrush for a starter. Buying used can be a real gamble, maybe OK, maybe not. The major authorized dealers like Chicago Airbrush and TCP offer good sale prices, I have bought major brands like Badger and Iwata at very steeply discounted prices.
Do you want double or single action? Many of the FSM highly skilled modelers stay with single action and produce spectacular results. I really recommend, if you haven’t already, that you take a good look at Don’s Airbrush website. It’s really loaded with information to help you gain general airbrush knowledge, and even to help with an airbrush type, or brand selection for purchase.
Good luck with the hunt.

Good choice. Don’s ab page is fantastic, not sure if he’s done a Silverline review but here’s mine.
