Alan and Maquette both offer kits for this beast, and FSM ran an article (March 2003) on a kitbash/conversion. Which route will produce the best product? Anyone have experience with these kits?

I just finished the Alan Kit. It came out very good. I had some problems with the interior, and used some red stuff to fill some gaps. Check the internet under Bison 2. There is a sight there that shows the Bison II “ALAN” completed, with a Verlinden Interior and photo etch.
I don’t know about the bison kit , but I just set aside for parts a Maquette PzBfWg 38(t) kit because it was so bad. It was missing tracks and had parts for the wrong kit. Maybe some day I’ll use it for a magazine explosion dio. I was NOT happy!!! [:(!]
