I could see doing that with a Henschel model, using the Jaguar interior, but it would probably be harder doing it with the Porsche model one–wasn’t that a longer chassis?
Wow, I wonder what happened to it? That is too much damage for a hit from a tank. I bet it got hit by bombs or rockets.

The Porsche suspension JT would be easier because there was no torsion bar system. The bogies were bolted onto the lower hull walls.
In the extant JT pictures, a good handful have been demolished as such. I can only imagine the “bang” when the detontation charge went off…

Photos of these Jagdtigers blown up like this are fairly common the Panzer Wrecks series of books are full of them… seems that was the fate of most of them, being blown up by their crew… I guess all it would take is one or two remaining 128mm HE shells left in it with a satchel charge laying on top of them and BOOM!
Making destroyed tanks isn’t that hard it just takes a lot longer and requires more references and a bit of creative thinking. In fact I find it easier to build a destroyed interior than an intact one cause it doesn’t have to be perfectly squared up and all that… not to mention it’s way more fun.
Here is a sample of a Ko’d Pz IV i’ve been working on off and on for a while… It’s a combination of Resin interior parts and scratchbuilt parts…
That is a great shot of the JT and would make a very cool model btw…

That would be a challange. To build a knocked out one. As for everyone building something else. Well, that is were I have been these last couple of months. Except my build is a R/C combat warship Nothing like building it and then putting it in the water just to shoot the crap out of it. What fun. Just have to wait till the next battle.
