Planning a small, modest diorama of a Luftwaffe airfield–I have a hardstand, an Fw190D-9, and will soon have the Verlinden Luftwaffe airfield carts. Who makes 1/48 scale jerry cans, oil drums, and other such accessories? How about Luftwaffe ground crews and pilots in 1/48? I know Tamiya and Dragon make plenty of stuff like that in 1/35 (mostly for armor scenes), but who makes 1/48? Resin is okay, but not necessary. Thanks! I know this post should be in “Dioramas” probably (and it is) but “Aircraft” gets alot more traffic.
Tamiya now does make a pretty nice looking oil drum and jerry cans set in 1/48 because of their new 1/48 armor series. And Hasegawa makes a nice Luftwaffe ground crew, equipment and bombs set.
Airwaves has a line of metal figures. I had a bunch of them, but I sold most of them on Ebay. The last of what I’ve got is up there right now (3 Luftwaffe figures). I think some othe rmakers have released metal figures in 1/48 too.
