Believe it or not, this is on the FAA site in Alaska

but won’t they know that it’s a tomcat?
the picture is very intrguing
maybe the guy taking the picture doesn’t know his airplanes
There are lots of official sites out there with mislabeled vehicles and aircraft on them. Remember, most of these sites are maintained by civilians contracted to do so, not the military. Not every item can be caught when these are edited. Just be happy in the fact that you caught it and know that it is not an F/A 18, most peolpe don’t know the difference, and aren’t that interrested to care.
Ah, the Jolly Rogers. My favorite scheme.

Isn’t that the Tomcat at the museum of flight in Seattle?
Is that called a “Horcat” or “Tomnet?” Someone needs a short, intensive course in aircraft identification.

Well get this… I got a Air Force Academy news paper last year that had groups putting adds in it to thank the Air Force in Iraqi freedom and one was a ad from lockheed weapons division showing a flight of MiG-29s. Dough! They do look like the f-18 but thats a navy/marine a/c anyway![xx(]
