What special preperation do i need to paint a natural metal finish. I am using model master buffing metilizers from a spray can. Also how far away should I hold the can to recive the best results.

Nick I have found that about 10 to 12 inchs with short and quick stokes does the best for me.Digger[:)][C):-)][:)]

I’m no expert, but I suggest you prime first. The only metalizer finish I ever did turned out beautiful, and I primed with flat white acrylic first. Let it cure for at least two days before spraying the metalizer, or prime with a laquer or enamel first. That will also show up any flaws in the plastic too.

I think i got all the steps sand, polish, prime, apply several light coats, seal, apply decales, then seal again.
