That looks great Frank. I like the tank hanging, just beat up. I think it’ll look superb.
As for the filler cap. Glue on a piece of .020 rod or streched sprue to the top of the filler cap. that’s all the diffrence is. Sorry, I can’t get a pic of it, my computer sneezes at the program to copy save and edit DVD’s. [:-^]
Thanks Drew. Is it just a single, straight piece of rod sticking straight up, or is shaped like an inverted “U” to protect the actual fuse underneath? Sorry to ask so many questions, hope to get that DVD set you showed me when I get paid. [:D]
Just a single straight piece of rod. It looked as if it was just so the armourer could handle the assembly easier.
Thanks Drew. Believe it or not, but I just looked at these Tamiya tanks and realized there is no fuel filler cap on them! [banghead]
Hmmm… now I gotta figure out how to fix that.
