After being a member of the Naniwa Sensha-tai (local armor modelling club here in Osaka) for more than 5 years now, I just realized part of our website was a Ma.K Zbv 3000 gallery! I’ve never built any, but I certainly appreciate how cool they are.
Just thought ya’ll would like to see 'em!
Majority I reckon are the plastic Kits with a few of the Resin conversions thrown in.
Many Online sites will stock them, also check Hobby Link japan and Rainbow 10.
Makers are NITTO (for the original Kits), WAVE (for newer designs in plastic), Modelkasten(For resin kits and resin conversions), Silicon Tribe (for 1/16 scale Resin Kits), Red Dog (for 1/35 Resin kit/gaming pieces) and a few other small companies that produce them in a variety of scales.
Very very cool! These kits just beg to be bashed! If anyone would like to build any of these kits, but are afraid or dont know how, just treat them and build them just like armor kits because thats what they are! With rust and dents and chipped paint and wheathring and such plus at 1/20 scale you can put a whole lot of detail in them!
Ive got about 80 kits andam still buying them even the built junked up ones! I use them for spare parts and dios. Ive even got a lot of resin trans kits too. A friend of mine has gotten an original sandstalker from wonderfest and is going to sell it to me for around 75.00. Man i cant wait!
Ive recently finished the new raptor from wave and that kit is absolutly flawless! Now im working on an oskar and a gans and pak krote. Im always building five or more kits at once and just cant put them down! I sold my entire model car collection(200) kits just to get back into my favorite type of hobby, armor and scifi!
I sure will as soon as i figure out the photobucket thing ill post some! some friends of mine just gotsome pro A 1/12 gladiator and gustav! Man what detail these things got!
