A hint is, that it was from the pre-ww2 era…not many around!

Sounds like our old ‘AFV Quiz Contest’! I forget who did that though. We’d get a picture of some little known AFV and have to try and guess it in about 7-10 days! Was a lot of fun! If nothing else you could tell who had the better reference library!

It is a Polish TKS. I am the V Corps (M1A1) Master Gunner Here in Germany. I was in Grafenwohr where we shoot all of our gunneries and was at the gas station and the Germans were diggin up a vehicle behind it and low and behold it was the same tank in your picture. I regret not getting pictures of it but it really would not do much good, the only feature left basically was the suspension. The Germans looked up the serial number and it was the Polish TKS probably brought to Germany for target practise for the German army.
