Thought I’d share with you a pic of one of my latest projects… It’s a 1/72 AMC (Citroën-Kégresse) Panhard-Schneider (M29) P16.
It’s genesis takes us back to the very early 1920s’, when Kégresse designed a touring car to take part in a famed cross-Sahara ‘raid’ in 1922/23. The military soon got interested and a number of vehicles spanned from the original concept up until 1933. This one is the 1929 model, of which 96 were built. They were not very popular with their crew but about 50 were still in service in 1940.
Although I did not design the pattern for this kit, I had to build one for ‘display’ purposes for the company.
