My WW2 shelf...

After all the words of encouragement, here are more builds. These are all of my WW2 builds. I would appreciate any pointers from the WW2 folks here.
See what you have all done! Now I am insufferable! I promise this will be my last “large” image posting.

1/48 Tamiya - many years ago before I realized that paint should be thimmed before airbrushing! This kit had a fall and I have not repaired it yet.

Good work !
I like the markings on the Bf 109.

Looks get even if one of them had a fall.Digger

Excellent builds, nice mix of aircraft, like the 109,

Rob.

They are all great, thanks for the pics.

They all look good mate.

Fantastic work, the spinner on the 109 is especially nice!

Ray, what wonderful talent you have on display there friend!! your right, you need to stop postin’ all of these perfect builds friend, cause i need to stop starin’ and go build my own without the pressure of trying to aspire to your work!! you have some excellent builds there my friend. keep up the good work!! we want more…we want more…we want more!!![tup][tup][tup]

Hey, those apes arn’t WW2 stuff!!! Nice models.

Thanks so much guys!

Looking at these pics, makes me want to back and weather the Spitfire and maybe strip the paint from the Beaufighter and do a partial rebuild. As you can tell I love jets! I have a bunch of WWII kits in the stash I want to tackle, but I can’t seem to stop building modern. I bought the 1/48th pro-modeler me-410 about three years ago and have not touched it.
This will be easier-
WWII Stash:
1/48th - pro modeler DO-217
1/48th - accurate miniatures Avenger - BW box
1/48th - Tamiya Dewoitine
1/48th- pro modeler me - 110g
1/48th - pro modeler Ju-87
1/48th - Monogram kingfisher
1/48th - Hasegawa Hurricane II - Asian theater markings
1/48th - AMT p-40F and a P-40M

and about 25 jets that are mostly F-4s!

I am such a woosy that I bought express masks for all my WWII kits. I hate masking canopies! If you all have experience with any of the aforementioned kits, any advice or experinced build problems are greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Ray

Very nice builds [tup]. Especially like the Gustav. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Rick

thanks for the showcase Grenedier
love the markings on the 109…all that titanium on the F-4 tail…and the colour on the F-8 tail…
i envy that you can share here…keep up the good work.

Great stuff Grenadier! I like the 109 too. I’ll have to get one soon. I see you’ve built the same Spitfire I’m working on. I was going to go for the clipped wings option but having tried fitting them I decided against it. Unlike the rest of the kit they didn’t seem to fit well at all, creating uneven gaps. And that was enough to make the decision for a newbie like me! Again, great builds!
