Nice work on your builds for this year. I really like the paint job on the MiG 17 but shudder to think of how difficult that had to be to accomplish. And the jeep looks fantastic.

I found a picture of a giraffe on the internet. Blew up the markings on the neck to the size I thought would be about right. Then I layed a piece of masking tape on the work bench, put the picture on top of the tape and traced the markings on the tape. This left an indentation in the tape. I cut those out and and put them on the model. Don’t ask me how many there was I don’t remember. A lot of these type of camo jobs remind me of leopards for some reason. I thought that the leopard spots would not be big enough, so I thought about the giraffe. I have to admit that I am not sure that I would do this again. I think that this is a good example of how nature makes darn good camo. By the way thanks everyone for the comments.

All of you work is outstanding! My personal favorites are the F-4, F-104 and I’d have to say the the camo on the MiG is my absolute favorite. Well done!!
