My USAirFix A4D

I built this tiny A4D in early June. Despite the kit’s age and condition, I was able to use the supplied decals, and I think they turned out really nice. This version is pretty close to a photo from Chu Lai AB, Viet Nam in the late 1960s:

The kit didn’t come with underwing stores, so I went with the supplied external fuel tanks.

The size of some of the decal ‘fonts’ required me to move them around; the “Marines” was too large to fit on the vertical stabilizer for example.
