Andy,

That is a FANTASTIC job!!! [bow][bow]

The time and talent you spent creating this project really shows, THANK YOU for sharing it… I don’t think I’ve seen any better! [:)]

Take care,

Frank

Dude, that is way too cool!
I love all the opened doors and detail on the engine bays – absolutely fantastic.
Gives me more ideas and goals to strive for in my building; thanks for sharing.

Andy

Outanding work as usual Andy!
It really looks real! Only thing missing is a crew working on that perfectly detailed engine.[:D]

Andy,

That model is way to good. As above, that thing looks REAL. Excellent work there and great paint job in the weathering and subtle shading of the panels. How many hours work was put into that?

Nice.

Rich

Thank you guys for comments!

richgb, I am not sure about the amount of hours but I would say… half-a-year? maybe less cuz I also built couple of WW2 planes.

Avus, you are right - its missing the crew… I’ll try to “figure” something out by the summer :-))

Simply awesome!!

All I can say is…WOW!

Funny thing is…I have my 12 point flare crowsfeet wrenches out right now for hydrastic work!!! Lemme at those filter bodies!!! Woo hoo!

Man that is some of THE BEST plumbing I have seen yet!!! And I know a little about helicopter plumbing!!

David

Andy,

You shared your progress with me along the way and I’m still amazed at the amount of detail and great job of painting and weathering you accomplished. I can hear the ignitors popping, the turbine starting to whine and smell the JP-4! A fantistic job! Outstanding! Belongs in a Museum! You set a “bench mark” few will be able to meet much less top!

Hey! I found something wrong! There is a cotter pin missing on the pitch change link!

Seriously, that is some outstanding work! With good background photo, you could make anybody think it was real.

Mac

just goes to show what can be done with a steady hand, a good eye, research and alot of patience, fantastic job, if my huey looks as half as good as that when its done il be well chuffed … though a bit scared to get it out of the box now lol [;)]

Needs more cowbell.

If it is one of the castellated fibre-locknuts , it’ll make it another flight…Ive got a few cotter pins in my box if you need one…

David

Thank you very much ALL for the comments. I am really glad you like it.

If there is any interest in the progress here is the link.
