Heres a few pics of my DML intial Tiger interior I added to the kits using Verlinden,Model Kansten and some Academy interior parts.http://james892.fotopic.net After clicking link, click on DML Tiger to bring up pics if it dont go right to them. Thanks
Very nice, I’m doing the Academy early one. Check it out. Or the article I’m writing.
Sorry to hijack, great model you have. I wish I had courage to paint a figure, I’ll eventually do one.
Too bad you missed the GB…[:(]
Birmingham AL, yes finally someone on here from a location within 50 miles of me. Where have you been? Anyway Im in Tuscaloosa. (Roll Tide)
Ohh yeah I looked at the pics but I was so thrilled to find someone from Birmingham on here I did not really look very well. Ill look again.
Ok I looked at the pics, looks good. I am building the same kit. Although I did not put an interior in mine. I added skirts because im modeling a very early production tiger.
nice job kernop!-- some of the pics are a little fuzzy, but the clear ones look real good-- your officer sure has a big smile on his face!-[:P][tup]–treadwell
Very nice article and build you have going there[C):-)] Yes, I had built the early Academy tiger-1 with a full interior. But my two year old got a hold of it, did more damage then any T-34 ever did[(-D]So i scrapped it for parts and put a lot of the interior parts in my DML Tiger.I hope to try my hand at another Academy full interior soon with alot of after market parts.Right now its a Late Tiger Wittmenn special from AFV Club im working on.Thanks
james
Yes, T- town[party] its only about 45minutes away from me here in B’ham[(-D] Also (Roll Tide)[#toast]
Thanks for looking at the pics,I have a problem that I cant just build a Tiger are any thing else, with out putting a interior in it.LoL But im trying to stop!
Very nice build, well done, love the interior!![:)]
Where in Bham do you live? Also are you a member of any clubs like IPMS?
Yes a few pics a little fuzzy sorry[D)].Im new whith the camera[8)] Even though its got about 98% full interior, I more are less built it to be able to see on the inside with the hatches open and see what suppose to be there, like the real thing you know not to take it apart and see a full interior like the Academy tiger. Also a option of opeing the engine deck up for a change in display from time to time.
Looks pretty nice. Too bad there were no in-progress shots to see what this looked like before it was closed up.
I think the point that kernop is making is that it is built to show detail with open hatches, not to display full interior. I like the idea and am going down the same route. The Academy detail might not be 100% accurate when the original kit is displayed all open but it shows off nicely inside your T1 kernop.
Thank you for sharing!
Johan
I’m building the same kit. Thanks for showing the pics, it’s looking good.
I hope mine turns out as good as yours…Kenny
Thanks guys for the feed back, like I said I just wanted the interior to be seen through open hatches.not to take the thing apart for display, like the Academy tiger. But I hope to do another in the near futre with a very detail interior that could be open up.
