Hi, Ted. The title of this post caught my eye first, then I checked to see who had started the post. My next though was, “If Ted did this, it’s probably a great build.”. Well, I wasn’t disappointed. I really like what you’ve done with it. It looks terrific. We don’t want to hear no stinking “Not really great…” out of you ever again! Consider yourself to have been severly chastised! Don’t let it happen again.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I really do like it. Wish I could get up the gumption to do a dio or at least a little scenery sometime…Oh yeah, I guess that would mean I’d have to finish a model first, huh??
I wasn’t tryin to be Humble or anything like that. I think it’s a basically good build, just not as good as I would have liked. It’s straight from the box, except for a Stainless steel tow cable. I just want my stuff to come out as good as what I see here and on other forums and have a long way to go. Especially with the new weathering tech. that y’all talk about. I tried filters and pigments and didn’t dry brush anything and wasn’t very good at it.
Thanks for all the kind words. Next one will be better, I hope!!
Let me brush up on my ebonics? Omellete (I’m gona let) this one slide! This is an awesome build, and the dio is very fitting. You let us make the calls. Thanks for sharing your fine work. Semper Fi, mike
