My Semovente M40-75 18 Pics

Since I can’t figure out how to link pictures right from Geocities (and I don’t think it works for linking, here’s the web page…

What do you all think? What could I do better?

I think I need to do a little bit more with the Pastel Chalk Dust…missed behind the wheels, and some spots around the road wheels.

Thanks,

Abastyr.

Looks OK
you could put the mud on the inside tracks aswell as the outside
and darken the pare tracks on the hull a bit
and dry brush a lighter shade of brown over the dark brown (to make it look like some of the mud has dryed

ill test to see if the photo can be posted?

it works in preview but might not work tomorrow?

Looks good Abastyr!I think it could use a little more dust if you want to do it. Really good job on it!

Eric

yep aside from CC’s suugestions it looks very good.

Looks like the others have got you covered pretty good.

Nice job on something we don’t often see.

Thanks for sharing !!!

what kit is it and dos’s it come with the interier or did you add it yourself

Looks good…sounds like you got plenty of sound advice!

Regards, Dan

Very nice work!
Is it the old Tamiya kit?

Looks very very nice!

Add more mud at the inside of the tracks and below the belly. Play with more highlight and dark washes around these area. I would suggest a base conforming with all the mud. Also try to add a figure or two to liven it up.

Nice job!

Abastyr, what paint scheme did you use? I don’t remember seeing yours in the instructions. My instructions only had the desert paint schemes. however it was a very old version of the Tamiya kit. It was passed on to me by a friend when he found out I was building again. Looks much better than mine!

very good job. Nice kit I havent seen that one before

Nice job. As Robert said, thanks in sharing something different.

Only suggestions I would have are deepen the wash and drybrush, and the mud application seems a little off. Spread it evenly on both sides of the tracks, out and in.

It was Tamiya’s Old 35078 kit. I picked it up on Ebay for like $8. It was a fun (quick) build, it does come with the interior with driver (pretty detailed too), and I don’t really pay much attention to the paint schemes in the directions, usually just references on the internet, or what I think looks good.

Think that answered the questions…
