This is the old Revell HMS Cambletown built OOB except for 3lb. test for the rigging ( I recently restrung my trout poles and saved the old line you never know lol) I’m happy with it,I built it for this months NJIPMS mothly contest…
I thought so cause I built the HMS Montgomery for last months meeting and that had a steel deck. Not sure on the pic issues they work here if not I will try again
keilau,no way on the railings lol the simple rigging (I simplified it lol) was enough for me maybe on somthing larger like a Battlleship I would love to do the USS New Jersey (I have the special plates on both of my trucks). I did try the railings bu didn’t like how they were comming out
They ARE for the “RAILINGS” i.e.thread. When you got done you could see the steps in the “RAILING” Many folks don,t know how to stretch sprue thin enough to glue in place for “RAILS” The old thread method really didn,t work well. The ship always developed “FUZZIES” Now I do them in brass . tankerbuilder
