my progress on special hobby's 1/72 p-36 (lots of pics)

my current build takes me somewhere i havent been. a very small, limited run a/c. i have been working on this bird for about two weeks. it will be a nmf build from the 15 pg out of hawaii, dec 7 1941 with two confirmed kills. paints used so far are testors enamels and acrylics, model master enamels and acyrilics, and zynolyte enamels.

this build has had ups and downs, the pit made of resin and pe went together like a dream, the fuse was a bear to put toether. it was warped, horrible fit. it took a lot of pushing and prodding to get it into shape.

warning some pics are horrible

first the cockpit.

now some of the progress on the fuse.

and painted

well that is where i am. sorry about the length.

Looks nice for a 1/72 kit. The cockpit looks very nice. The NMF looks good too. Thanks for the pics (they aren’t even taht bad).

Looking good Joe. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Rick

That looks very good and great detail for 1/72.
Always nice to see your work ,Joe and 1/72 is
slightly underepresented these days.

Nice work, Joe. Can’t wait to see this one when you get it finished.

Thanks for sharing! How do you find Special Hobby’s kits? Their Pucara is nice but the fit not so nice. I had the same problem with the ER-2 kit (which I temporarily shelved!)

nice pics Joe

duke thankyou for the kind words. i just wish i would have caught the gear problem before it set. one of the gear was shorter than the other. didnt catch it until i got ready to paint.
