My Phinished Phantom (pics)

Revell Pro-Modeller (reissue hasegawa) 1/48 F-4E Phantom II. Built for the YG group build. Comments welcome. I built it straight from the box. I’m considering putting on another flat coat, btw.Hope you guys like it. Accentuation of panel lines was done with an oil wash.

Tanky, you posted thumbs. Edit the th- out of the URL.

Looks great. Nice build. Looking forward to building my PM F-4.

Much better Tanky [:)]. Now that we can actually see the model, gotta say it’s a very nice build. If you do more flat, don’t get it on the clear parts.

Excellent build and paintjob on the Phantom, Tanky.

Regards, Dan

I wouldnt flat it anymore… looks awesome.

Thanks for the comments. This was my first time using future. I’m pretty happy with the way that turned out. Also my first time using polly scale acrylic flat, very happy with that stuff. works great. Also my first time with my 155 anthem. Used to spray the bottom color and the clear coats. Top camo was sprayed through my aztek.

Phantastic Phantom, Tanky. You did a great job on it. I love those birds and when I finish this A-10 I’m working on I think I’m going to do another one.

Tanky I said in the GB forum and I will say it here… I like it!!!

Your paint job is superb! Very nice build [tup]

Excellent work tank- you should definitely put that one on the shelf as a job well done.

Tankman,
Great looking Phantom - and I agree with you - a flat coat would greatly enhance the look of the model - I really like the cammo.
Good job, mate.

Looks great as is. Phantom is one of those airplanes that look great in scale with their gear down.
