I am not new and have been a member for many years Maybe 20? or more?) under the name Jimbot58. I will admit I lost heart and gave up on the forum as it was so troubled for such a long time. I see the forum is back (and I hope better!) and would like to return under my old user name. The previous account (Jimbot58) I no longer have the password for it (forgotten) and the email address I used at the time has since been killed. I hope there would be someway to reset that password? I can provide the original email (dead) address in private if needed, I can see my old posts but little else. I know all of my Photobucket picture posts have been deleted as I always refused to pay their ransom.

This was an issue when the new forum first started, I believe most of the people contacted customer service on the website. I remember seeing a few threads about it. But…. @Tim_Kidwell might be able to point you in the correct direction.
Welcome back @Jimbot1958.. I too had an old account. Under a different email address which I no longer have access to, so I didn’t even worry about it. But you got me thinking. I found it. I originally joined back in 2006…

I allso have same issue. My old email is long gone and I couldn´t change it at old forum. My former screen name was Trabi and I had some posts. I joined 2007 https://forum.finescale.com/u/trabi/summary I missed some group builds, because I couldn´t log in. I would be more than pleased if I can get my old account back. I´ve been lurking here since forum updated.
