That looks pretty nice. What scale is it? 1:35 or 1:48? I can’t really tell. Other than that it looks nice.
Really nice Goatmonkey, I like the wat the weathering has come out on the wheels, and track
Looks like a 1/72 scale PST kit to me.Great job.
thank you, it’s the 1:72 PST kit. this is probably the 4th or 5th kv of theirs that i’ve built. they’re nice kits except for some anoying problems, namely that the halves of the drive sprockets have a different number of teeth. i ended up slicing off the teeth off the inside halves where the track links would go but even then the leftover teeth were too closely spaced on one of the sprockets.
does someone actually make a 1:48th KV? i’d love to build that along with the tamiya stug 3 and the upcoming t-34.
The only thing that really bothers me about the PST KVs is that the applique armor scales out to about 1 foot thick
They aren’t perfect, but PST offers a lot as far as the KV-1 goes.Numerous vehicle types plus a lot of goodies for the spare parts box.I’m looking forward to building some of the trucks and artillery they produce.
Not to mention that they are the only company that puts out a 1/72 scale KV and IS series. That I know of anyway.
Nice build.
nice build goatmonkey… very good weathering and i like the battle damage…
Great looking build.
Nice work Goatmonkey! It’s great to see more Braille Scale armor on these Forums!
Looks great from here. Thanks for sharing.
Regards, Rick

Gotta love them KV`s.

looks good. You have to appreciate the bussiness looking lines of the KV. It definately was a monster.
Good work, I especially like the weathering and minor battle damage.
Fine work there!
Good job!
