Good evening gentlemen. I’m new to the forum, but I’ve monitored it for a while now. Very nice! I just won a Crescendo off of ebay. Originally, I was going to get an Anthem from Dixie, but this was such a good deal that I couldn’t pass it up. My question is as follows. What major differences are there between the two, keeping in mind that I grew up on the Badger 200. I know the obvious is size, but I am interested in the finish quality. Thanks a bunch and I look forward to hearing from MikeV.
The Crescendo sprays just as well as the Anthem and with the fine needle/tip it will spray slightly finer lines with practice.
You should be happy with it. [;)]

Welcome to the forum! I did research when I wanted a new AB and the crescendo seems like a good one. It’s the fat one right?
The cresendos a nice airbrush and is a good choice!
Thanks guys for the info! And MikeV, I’ll heed your advice, thanks again.
just practice a bit with it and you’ll do fine! I have both, I use mainly the anthem but with time I am getting more use out of the Crescendo as well… good solid brush!
Well Mike, Tom, and the rest of the gang, I bit the bullet and got the Anthem as well. Good price for the basic kit (43.00), couldn’t pass it up. And yes, I’ll practice, practice, practice.
That’s great news Elliot.
Just go easy on that trigger as the Anthem can really put out the paint if you pull back too far. [;)]

well if it’s for really fine work, I usually just unchuck, move the trigger back, then re chuck about half way. that way, it can’t go more than half.
