Enjoy! [;)]

Holy smokes!

Your nickname truly is indicative of your passion!! [bow]

Passion for collecting. He doesn’t build them himself, just pays others to build them and he displays them.

Nonetheless, it is an impressive collection. It would be nice if you built some of them yourself. Still, I’m in awe every time I see it. How come you never build anything yourself?

Holy whah!!!

Whoa, that’s awesome

Whether he builds them himself or not, I’m just grateful he shares them with us.
Thanks, Model Maniac!

I need a bucket!

WOW! Just thinking, you must like to model a bit, eh?

~grabbing stomach and running for the bathroom~

Amazing!!![:0]

That is AMAZING! Never seen any like that… wish I had one like that! Good work!

looks nice dude

Many thanks for your kind feedbacks and comments, esp. from J-Hulk!

I’m a modeler turned collector. I built hundreds of models myself in the past. Of all 1800+ kits
bought, there’re some 300 still unbuilt, some 100 lost/damaged, some 400+ built by “Art
Instructor” and some 200 built by other modelers. The remaining 800 I built myself but you
won’t see much of them because they’re ugly (many got repainted by “Art Instructor”).
But great works are great works, we can admire them on their own capacity. It doesn’t
matter much who build them or who own them.

An impressive Russian collection. I would love to be able to display my built models in this way. It beats my bookshelves any day…lol…Thanks for the link, I enjoyed looking at your collection.

Jesum Crowe, you have the looks of your own hobby shop there mate! wow!!!

Impressive collection, model maniac. Thanks for sharing with us.

Nice looking setup. Were is this at ,your home ? Are those display cases custom built ? Looks like a professional job all the way around , must be expensive to have all that done with what looks like top quality materials.
CFR

Thanks so much for additional feedbacks since my previous reply! they’re more than
my expectation.

CFR, that’s my mother home in Bangkok, I’ve been living for 30 years. Apart from my
mother and myself, there’re my youngest brother, his wife and three sons. We also
have a housemaid and three dogs. Those display cases in my new showroom were
bought second-handed from a stationery store, I bought 6 of them for just $60 each
(it costed the store some $250 each ten years ago). They have thick teak frame, all
covered by aluminum plates. After some cleaning they look almost as good as new.
The new showroom was designed by my brother, it took 23 days to construct and it
set me back some $6,500 overall, not too expensive, huh?. I think in western countries,
the labor cost alone would have costed more than this amount already.

Model Maniac , If you had a contractor build the room for $6.5K then yes that is a good price. I’m sure the materials allone would cost more than that here in the states , especially with the cost of all of the sliding glass doors. Again , very nice.
