My nephew's first model

Hi everyone, this is my nephews haygen first plane, Our family went out for a three our drive to see our grandma, It was in Provo UT, My mom kindly let me stop at there awsome hobby shop. I went to get some paint, then I heard “Andrew, this plane is cool can I please have it?” So I got him a Revell 1/72 Snaptite Spit Mk 2. Them we went to our Grandma’s house and built it up. He did most of it when he had a question he would ask me. After 15 minutes, It was ready for flight. He eagerly went outside and zoomed around with it, he shot the heck out of everything from rocks to trees. Heres the pics[:D]

I didn’t know my mom was there![:P]

There’s a memory he’ll have for years to come… My first model, I built with my older cousin, a 1/72 scale Spitfire as a matter of fact, back in '66 at the age of seven… He built a Corsair, and we spent a long time “dogfighting” that day… I was hooked from then on…

Andrew, that is GREAT. The last pic says it all!! I echo the praise for being such a good uncle. It turned out just great. Thaks for shareing a awsome story…Harv

YAY!!![tup]

I feel all warm and fuzzy for you both!
