Devastator from torpedo 6 aboard USS Enterprise Feb 1942 ready for attack on Wake island. Aeromaster decals, added wing fold detail, scratcth built bomb rack and modified bombs. I had a lot of fun building this one I hope you like it.

Hey Mike, glad to see you got the courage to post some pics!! Very nice build of this oldie but goodie. Thanks for sharing. See you at Old Guard.

Great looking build. Thanx for sharing.
It’s a great looking bird, thanks for the veiw.
I’ve always loved the looks of the TBD! Really nice model! I built one years ago but ended up using it as an airbrush test piece because it looked so bad. I need to try another one but I’ll have to get better on canopy frames first.
Nice job on a sometimes challenging kit!

Here’s a rare bird-with folded wings as well. Great job!!
Great job on an unusual subject. Did the Enterprise go to Wake Island with TBDs? Topedo 6 was famous in both the Coral Sea and Midway battles so you have done a great justice by building such a fine model of the group. I know the Big E was in the Southwestern Pacific doing spot raids in the early months of the war. I remember the Saratoga going enroute to Wake but was called back because the Brass didn’t want to risk her running into the Japanese fleet. That really upset the crews that were going to “rescue” the Marines.
Again, great job, I really love to see models done up in the ealry schemes of the war.

Just wonderful mate.[bow][tup]
