My M548A1

Yep,it’s another one I care to share with you all. I’ve included a pic of the real model as well as my model. When you look at the original model and my model you will see one difference. The major difference is the extra protective armor on the gunner support bar.

I thought by making my a little unique it will stand out more.[:)]
Then again, we all know that this arrangement is very possible so I still feel that this model pretty much supports the original pic.

What do you think guys?[;)]

The orignal pic:

My model:

Cool build of a tracked /ammo /haul parts thingy!

Seriously, a very good build, I think you’ve captured your reference perfectly!

Steve

Yeah, that’s definitely not one of your everyday builds. You’ve done yourself proud with this one. What kit is it?

Great work! I’ve never seen this before. It does capture the picture.

Great model, how was the kit, its the AFV Club kit isnt it

Thanks all. Yes Captain caveman, it is the AFV kit.

I think you’ve done a fine job, and the concept you have portrayed, could easily be something done in the field with the imagination our troops have at improvising. New word in the world of armour “Hillbillie Armour”. Semper Fi,mike

Thanks Mike and a good one… I’m glad you finally see the theme I am trying to protray. Something like this can easily be achive in the field. I’ve seen some usual conversion of hummers and trucks, with their homebuilt shields and what-have yous, so nothing is impossible. People just like to modell what they see and not what they don’t see or what could or can be.[:D]

Thanks for seeing that.[8D]

don’t mind me asking, but what does it do?

Sorry, but what do you mean?

Excellent Build Tiking. You really did a good job of representing the prototype,

Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! Definitely always nice to see something a little different.

…a little different is my middle name. [:D] I always try to model something that has a twist that way it looks unique in its own way.[:)]

it does the same thing as a 6X6 truck, carry things
