My "Little Chief"

Hey guys,

Did one of those two at the same time builds. You know, well while that one is drying I might as well work on this one. Well this one in done except for alittle weathering. It’s a 1/48 Hasegawa P-47D. Like I always say, give it to me straight!

Thanks

Zip

Nice one Zip. Looks good.

Regards, Rick

Razorbacks are sweet.

Good looking build, almost seems a shame to dirty it up [;)]

Thanks alot guys. I appreciate your compliments.

Zip

It looks good. Nice clean paint, smooth. I have a question, this isn’t me making a criticism. Did you find in research or the instructions that the area under the canopy, behind the pilot, is to be painted in the interior green?

Good looking build Zip! I have a razorback on the bench right now I need to get finished up. Hope mine looks as good as yours when it’s done. [tup]

Nice Build, Well DONE [:D]

Bud

Great job, Zip. I really like the Razorback, and you certainly did this one justice. Little Chief is next in my “To Build” list. I hope I can come close to your outstanding results. Any hints or words or caution with the kit?

Nice looking razorback. I have one on the bench right now. hope mine turns out just as good.

MortarMagnet,

On the interior green. I researched alot on the colors and the instruction say interior green. All the photos in my research were in B&W so I couldn’t tell. I found several color photos from air museums but some had green and some had black so I couldn’t be sure from than either. So I went with they instructions.

Thanks

Zip

mucker,

This thing went together without a hitch. I built it while I was building my Revell P-51. I started the mustang first then started building the P-47. Well I’m done with the Thunderbolt but not the Mustang. So what does that tell ya[(-D]

Thanks
Zip

LOL- I’ve got both those kits in my stash- the -51 from Revell and the -47 Razorback from Tamiya.

Your bird looks great, zipmeister! I was looking at it thinking “Well, that’s how I want mine to look”, so you’ve set the bar! [;)]

Very nice job on the masking- that looks great. Glad to hear it’s a good build.

I’ve found everything from natural Al, to sand… It makes it difficult sometimes.

Hi Zip,
nice looking build, well done.
Can’t wait to see the B-25 you have sat in the background though.[:)]
