My Ju88 Desert

This is the Revell (Mono) pro version in 1:48. The decals are so old that most are just broken in pieces when dip in water. I managed to source some spares to make it look decent; Also this is the first time to draw the camo lines free hand, as you can see I need lot of practice…[:$]…

Hope you like the pics…

Happy Rememberance Day

Nice work cnq. Just doing the camo is a step beyond where I’m at. Congratulations!

I need to build one of those… Very nice work!

Very nice build cnq. The paint looks great. I’m not an expert on German planes, but I think I remember reading that a lot of the camo was applied in the field and in a hurry. No two were exactly alike. Keep up the great work.

That’s a nice looking build. I tried that type a scheme a few years back and really messed it up. You have done a good job on that.

Nice 88. The camo looks pretty realistic if you ask me. Thats not an easy kit to build either. Although I think the Promodeller directions are much better than the Dragon ones.

Not quite the Pro modeler directions are pretty much exactly the same as the regular Dragon instructions except that Revell added tips on how to make the kit assemblies look more realistic. It even still contains the same ommission from the dragon instructions regarding the ammo chute for the cockpit mounted MG15. It shows it in the instructions but it doesn’t call out the part number.

Thank you guys. This kit is not too friendly to work with and I’m glad I got it build to the finish. I might do it again in a larger scale 1:32.

Get the Pro Modeler version it is the cheaper release of the RoG kit.

turned out nice. the camo looks great. i just dumped an JU-88A4 for a PLA 8x8 SNOW LEOPARD IFV but have a pair of JU-52s in the stash.

very nice job on a cool scheme
