After Pierre’s F-4 this ain’t much but here’s a progress update on my Grumman Goose.
The interior is coming together but following the kit directions is about the biggest mistake the modeler can make. I found that the floor pan needs to be placed then everything else positioned to fit logically after that.
I diverted from the kit color codes and ‘civilianized’ the crew seats. The seat belts up front are actually from a Tamiya kit.
I shall continue to baste with Future and keep you guys posted.

Looking good Swanny. I’m planning on starting one when I clear the bench of a few other projects. Please include any build tips as you go, I’m all ears, well eyes actually.
Coming along nicely. Keep us posted.
Looking good. Thanks for the update.
Take your time. Mmmmmm… slow cookin’!

Coming along very nicely, Swanny. I can’t recall if you mentioned it - are the transparencies injection or vac? (p.s. - don’t let your wife see the cabin interior - she may want you to add curtains !)
So far so good… I don’t like to follow the recipes either…
looks good swanny. ]

Looks perfect Swanny…one thing I was wondering though, was that you said the front seatbelts are from Tamiya, but I couldn’t blow up the pic to see if it was a decal, or if Tamiya supplies PE seatbelts?? I didn’t think Tamiya supplied those. And if they are decals, how do you make it look so 3-D??
They are indeed decals and they are very 3D. I did not remove them from the paper backing but simply cut them out (carefully) and superglued them to the seats, paper and all. Looks pretty good, doesn’t it?[:D]
GREAT idea!!! Hope you don’t mind me borrowing that technique in the future!!
