Well I must admit I’m a sucker for great ground work…And you surely have that. Not to mention an excellent tank. The mud looks so real, and the mud on the tank looks like its still wet [:O][wow]. All around great build.
Very nice looking dio Vonryan. The groundwork and weathering on your stug are outstanding. Thanks for sharing with us, and also, welcome to the forums. Look forward to seeing more of your work. Semper Fi, mike
thanks. when you get stuck in it . it leaves a lasting memory.
Very nice work. I’m a sucker for a dirty tank, so consider me sucked in [:)]
Nice dio, thanks for the pics

That’s some really nice work! A quick question for you: How did you get that nice, drapey look on the flag? (I’m finishing up an SdKfz. 223, and it would look very spiffy with just such a flag, you see.)
Excellent work!
amazing detail and ground work! how did you do the grass in the ground and on the track? what did you paint the figures with(brush, toothpics, etc)? they are very detailed. the only suggestion i have is that the front upper hull, near the gun, looks really clean, almost spotless, maybe its just the picture though.
other than that, its amazing. [:o]
thanks for all the good word. anyway this is how i make flags straps & slings on weapons exc. use air tight lid from coffee can & use a round pincel to light to bend it then push it in place add flag. hope this helps. sorry took so long.

Great looking Stug. I really admire the wet looking mud, looks real. Great weathering.
vonryan… looks great, nice job on the stuG and exceptional groundwork.
Nice work Vonryan. The extra jerrycans and that flag really lend a sense of realism to your Stug. The groundwork is very well done and the mud and weathering is well done.
Welcome to the forum and keep up the great work.

thanks tiger II. by the way that is a cool name. you can’t see in the pic but i pushed a KV-1 in the dirt in front of the stug. glad everyone likes.
