Well,it was worth taking the trouble folowing the link…! I like it a lot! Is this a Tamiya kit?

yes, it’s the tamiya kit… i decided on the french build because my mom group up in paris during world war II and lived on a street called PASSY which is on one of the decals… NOTE THE WINE BOTTLES! hahaha

Very nice work tanker.

You forgot the / in the ending bracket. It should look like this [/img]

HA! I finally figgered it out!

Good job and thx for sharing

there you go.

btw looking good.

joe, thanx… i got that figured out but couldn’t figure out how to make the thumbnails expand when i click on them…

if the pics are larger they should expand. when i copied your addy for the pic all i got was the small pic.

joe

the problem with the pic size is with www.fotopic.com. This is the one thing I have yet to figure out. The only place they give you a viable address to insert images is the thumbnails (the large one’s do not have jpeg in the address, so you can’t link them). That’s why they are so small. To get a round it, I usually include a hyperlink to the gallery itself, which allows other to go directly to the site and see them full size

[:D] hi,great looking kit, what did you use for the rocks on the street?

gdarwin[roy]

i used crushed-up pieces of cement… thanx for the compliments all!

Nice touches on the stowage and base! All that and it’s got some personal history to boot.

I’ve always liked the M-8 and yours is no exception. The weathering is apt and you did a good job. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice work. I like the Tamiya kit, and you’ve done it credit.

thanx everyone for the kind words…

Nice job! It’s always nice to see a project that has some history behind it. Thanks for sharing. Semper Fi, mike

Good job! I’m in the process of building the M8 myself.Mine will be the 2nd. Armored Division. If I can figure out how to post them, hopefully you’ll take a look. Again, good job. I like the wine bottles(hic)!
