I believe this is the first thread I have initiated…I could be wrong though, no matter!

My first will be my last, I know some of you will be ecstatic to hear this, but I’m leaving the forum. Not because the bullies scared me away, although I know some of you will pride yourself as the cause of my departure. I have a resolution of sorts not to waste any of my precious time.

As a final statement I do have some last words, so to speak…there are members of this forum that I would love to meet face to face, some because I admire what the stand for and how they conduct themselves. Dwight and Rob G are the first names that come to mind. Then there are some of you I would love to meet for other reasons…to discuss their view of life, their beliefs, and first and foremost how they handle themselves outside the protective shell of the web. I’m sure some of you would love to meet me (in a dark alley :slight_smile: )…but rest assured I am exactly the same as I am in the forum.

I know this is only a forum and not real life, and that is a huge reason I’m leaving but I’m not so sure some of you share the same view point. As in life, not everyone on this forum shares your view point, not every method you use is the best, not every brand of air brush you use is the best. Some of you are very gifted at presenting advice without “forcing” your view point. Some of you let your egos influence your input and force feed your audience. Some of you have no idea what you’re saying, but yet you know everything. This leads me to my final point…

The followers… the band Wagoner’s…the groupies…get a life, your own life! If you try to live like a rock star, you’ll never be a rock star! Don’t cling on the heals of one…build your models for yourself, improve after each build, try something new, have fun, experiment…and before you know it you’ll be a rock star!

I’ve meet some wonderful people in this forum…and I value the time spent. However, real life more valuable if your in it! Take care and best wishes for a great 2008…may all your dreams come true.

Wow.

I mean, Wow!

Not sure what side I end up on, but what ever side that is, I hope you find what it is you think you are missing by spending time here. You and I have butted heads and we’ve also agreed on things, and I, for one anyhow, will miss your input. I haven’t always agreed with what you’ve said, or how you’ve said it, but I’ve always tended to read what you say. I’m certainly not ecstatic.

Why the big adieu? Why not just leave quietly? For the record, I have no qualms. Just wonder about all the pomp. Hope you find what your looking for.

As a comparative newbie, I won’t be shedding any tears…I have watched this guy, from the sidelines, for a year now. He would come in over the top on various threads, with the most outrageous statements, all designed to stir up trouble. He has been described by others (whom I do respect) as a troll, I had secretely hoped the moderators might pull the plug on him, but he has apparently beaten them to the punch. The forum is a better place without him. [troll]

No comment. Due to some of what’s been going on, I don’t blame him for leaving, even though he has a different reason for parting with us than that.

That’s really funny. You portray yourself to be the victim and yet you’re the one who got yourself into many of unwanted situations by being sarcastic, rude, making fun of people, making personal attacks and of course, your way of pouring salt on people’s wounds. I’m a very mellow and don’t really like to confront anyone and yet, you managed to be one of two (the other one was BadHombre/badhombrereturns) people that I had an issue with in FSM.

I don’t wish anything bad on you, but really do hope that one day you find a true peace within yourself. Oh, by the way, don’t bother sending me anther PM saying how you have so many people backing you up and have so many Silent majority support. That and $2 will only get you a subway ride in NYC.

I echo the other comments made here.

If you have that thin of skin then forums are no place for you and if you want to pick up your toys and go home then the choice is yours. Select your words more carefully and people would not give you a hard time! I am sure I am in the category of “know-it-alls” in your post as you and I have had our moments but that is the past and I am man enough to move on and let the past stay in the past. You obviously can’t do that and so I say adios and be well. [#toast]
