My first two 1:72 armour builds now have a base each to call home.

I finally got the bases done for these kits.

No where as impressive as some I have seen, but I am happy with how they turned out.

Excellent Mike! ! ! I use exactly the same kind of plaques to mount my 1/72 kits! They’re so convenient and easy to store!

They look great! I’m a big fan of 1/72–we’re a minority on this site![(-D]

How’d ya do that lush tree? Pretty sweet!

Nice ones! I sometimes use old CD discs as the basic base for my 1/72nd armour. But here an old cork tile passes for the Western desert!

The tree is based on a fantastic article done in FSM a couple of years back. Actually my wife Lorraine showed me how to do the tree as she is the master of such things!

It is amazing what a little bit of exploring at the park over the road can do for acquiring a nice trunk and branches material cache. Then Woodland Scenics lichen sprinkled over with dried parsley, all set together with hairspray.

Lori makes a heap of these for her figure dioramas.

cheers

Mike

Those vignettes look great!
