My first helicopter model.... (pics)

Here’s a Hasgawa 1/72 SH-60B with Penguin missile (a resin and photo-etch add-on included in the kit). I built it out of the box. It’s hard to tell because of the TPS and the low light (oops), but it’s in HSL-51 markings. This is my first helicopter effort, all my work up to now being jets. Feel free to leave comments or questions - might take me a while to reply because I’m leaving town for a couple weeks!!

Post those in our gallery, instructions in my sig.

Nice job Kolja94. Was the Apu exhaust part of the kit or was it in one of the aftermarket
sets you used ?

Nice work

Looks very nice![:)]

1/72 is very difficult to build AND make it look clean! it helps to start with a GOOD kit!

BUILD ON!

Great Job! Looks good to me.

Nice Seahawk!!

Fade to Black…

Excellent work! I also think the low light enhances the imagery somewhat. Great work for a first helicopter!

Nice job!

Just getting back home and catching up on the boards. I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words.

It is 100% out of the box, Fuzzy. Even the resin/photetch missle and “outrigger” (the thingy the missile mounts to) were included in the Hasegawa boxing. A multi-media kit, I guess!

Thanks again, everyone.

Very nice. I’ve got a Hasegawa Seahawk sitting in a box for the last 6 or so years because I’m afraid to touch it and fluff it up.
