my first "BIG ED" build

i’m having a blast on my AM 1/48 flight 19 Avenger,i bought the Eduard Big Ed PE set and the masks .It’s a lot different, that’s for sure…the most PE i have ever done is a part here,a part there, this thing has a ton and i can’t wait to see the results,i’ll get pics up in time

NOW DON’T TEASE US! HA Glad to hear you’re having fun with it! Please post pics as soon as you can, I’m going to embark on my first PE set soon. Got any tips/ tricks?

i need more tweezers,a PE bender thingy, and use a lot of white glue on toothpicks ,oh and last but not least i hope you have a magnifying lamp,it’s a must have

I’m doing that too. Except I’ve got the one for the Trumpeter TBM-3. I’m figuring altogether it’s about 800 parts, maybe more, but at least it’s in 1/32. I want to see how much of that awful Trumpeter mess I can throw away and replace with metal. I should be done in, oh, ten years the rate I build.

Maybe I should start with my AcMin TBM nightfighter. I have that Eduard fret set and flaps set lying around too. But as you have noticed, the 1/48 parts aren’t for the faint of heart either. It takes some good PE to improve on an AcMin kit, but Eduard pulled it it off on even the Dauntlesses and the SB2U series. Best of luck to you, and let us see your progress.
